Directions
Balloan House - directions
If you are coming from the South, follow the A9 to The North. Take the first sign for Dornoch, turn right. Follow the road for one mile and you will see a school on your left. After the school, turn left up the B9168 / Poles Rd. Carry on up this road for 500 metres then turn left at the sign that says Balloan House & Cottage. The sign is on your right, pointing to the left up a concealed driveway. When you turn left, carry straight on up the driveway, keeping to your left always and go through the white gates to Balloan House.
If you are coming from the North, follow the A9 South. Take the first sign for Dornoch and turn left down the B9168 / Poles Rd. Follow the road for 1.5 miles and turn right at the sign for Balloan House & Cottage. The sign is on your left (just past the ‘welcome to Dornoch’ sign), pointing to the right up a concealed driveway. When you turn right, carry straight on up the driveway, keeping to your left always and go through the white gates to Balloan House.
Balloan Cottage - direction
If you are coming from the South, follow the A9 to The North. Take the first sign for Dornoch, turn right. Follow the road for one mile and you will see a school on your left. After the school, turn left up the B9168 / Poles Rd. Carry on up this road for 500 metres then turn left at the sign that says Balloan House & Cottage. The sign is on your right, pointing to the left up a concealed driveway. When you turn left, take an immediate turn right into your car park with the property in front of you.
If you are coming from the North, follow the A9 South. Take the first sign for Dornoch and turn left down the B9168/Poles Rd. Follow the road for 1.5 miles and turn right at the sign for Balloan House & Cottage. The sign is on your left (just past the ‘welcome to Dornoch’ sign), pointing to the right up a concealed driveway. When you turn right, take an immediate turn right again into your car park with the property in front of you.
The Steading East and West - Directions
If you are coming from the South , follow the A9 The North. Take the first sign for Dornoch, turn right. Follow the road for one mile and you will see a school on your left. After the school, turn left up the B9168 / Poles Rd. Carry on up this road for 1 mile then turn left at the sign that says Balnapolaig. Follow this track to the end and come around the back of The Steadings.
If you are coming from the North, follow the A9 South. Take the first sign for Dornoch and turn left down the B9168 / Poles Rd. Follow the road for 1 mile and turn right at the sign for Balnapolaig. Follow this track to the end and come around the back of The Steadings.
